It's an author thing I feel, as I have found over the years writing fiction, that the characters you create out of thin air do actually take on life. One that becomes so real, so intense, you truly fall in love with them, having done so that's when the story truly takes on life. I do truly become attached to certain characters, to the point I become them during the story, up till the very end, It is at that time those characters I became stay with me after completing each story told. Then if and when I wish to find them later, they're always with me, I take them with me deep inside my soul, like old friends from my past. Who return for a visit now and then if and when I choose to continue that series.
